Made in heaven

It used to be that the best cars were made in Germany, and the best gadgets were made in Japan. But new technology has made it easier for the competition to close the gap. Today, when a company wants to manufacture a new product, they make sure that it is not only original, but also difficult to copy. And it does not stop there; companies keep reinventing themselves to keep ahead of the fickle nature of human beings. Ask Apple, the maker of the iPod.

For your product to stand out, you have to do more than just placing your logo on it. The style or design language, have to set you apart from others. More importantly, you had better have some proprietary technology in the gadget, to keep it years ahead of the competition. Otherwise copycats will make very good counterfeits of it.

The only reason counterfeits exist, is because the original is so good. When God saw that it was good to make man, He used the best available ingredients He had – Him. He made you out of Himself. And then He wrapped you in earthenware similar to His own image and likeness – but inside of you, He breathed His spirit, and you became a living being.

Remember when laptops used to have a logo saying “Intel” inside them, to distinguish the ones with that chip, and which run more efficiently? So are you also seal marked “branded” as God’s own by the Holy Spirit ?[Ephesians 4:30]. He breathed His propriety technology inside you, and now you run on the holy spirit. You are as original as it gets. Fully loaded with those rivers of living water, flowing in you; bottled at source!

No wonder the enemy has been making counterfeits, since the Garden of Eden days. He corrupted the technology inside some, to be against the creator, thus making them enemies of God. But God did an upgrade, and recreated us in Christ Jesus. So down here we walk as ambassadors of Christ, the head of state of our nation, who has made us a new creation. You are in this world, but not of this world. You are made in heaven and for heaven.
