Obama, thanks 4 snobbing Kenya

After attending his fao G-8 talkshop in Italy as Stato’s prezzo, Barack Obama bounced 2 Ghana last Friday, where he unleashed a ‘State of Africa’ speech 2 tha Ghanaian bunge on Sato.

In part of his speech he gave mad props to Ghana 4 conducting timam elections in ‘08 that were such a close compe btwn prezzo John Atta Mils and Nana Akufo-Addo that if da latter jamaa hadn’t conceded defeat afta the run-off, Ghana wud have almost dubbed Kenya’s or Iran’s ways of solving beef with election results. Obama also dissed Mugabe 4 messing up Zim with his well-intentioned but poorly executed ‘We need our land back’ programme.

Most Kenyans r kinda feeling down at tha moment coz Obama snobbed us yet his pops was Kenyan, which is understandable.

Lakini let’s take time out n sorora how the PNU/ODM ‘grand’ coalition has fared since its formation in Feb ‘08.

First, PNU/ODM have constantly bouted over whether Raila au Muthaura is mdosi wa gova 2 tha point ODM recently called 4 tha removal of Muthaura coz he was ‘undermining’ tha waziri mkuu.

Second, ODM have consistently zushad dat Ubako doesn’t consult Raila before making sensitive public appointments such as ambassadors.

Third, the ’shortages’ of oil n maize early this year dat led to price hikes of both burungus pointed 2 a PNU/ODM ‘collabo’ in which PNU kulad from ngata, n ODM frm maize. This is coz none of the ministers (ODM’s Ruto of Agriculture and PNU’s Kiraitu of energy) were forced 2 resign by a parliamentary vote of no confidence motion like tha one dat chujad ex-chumes minister Kimunya in ‘08 coz of tha Grand Regency hotel’s ‘bargain’ sale to Libya.

Finally, both parties still can’t agree on whether Kenya is best served by a parliamentary or presidential system of gova.

It’s wack enuff dat Michael Ranneberger, Stato’s ambassador 2 Kenya, regularly lectures this gova when it blunders. Now imagine Obama fikaing Kenya last weekend n instead of him giving us props coz of our excellent long-distance runners, free primo n seco education, scenic Masai Mara, etc, he also gives us a loooong msomo about how we have failed in governance, corruption, human rights, current water rationing in Nai, etc in tha presence of Michelle and broadcasted worldwide. Balaa!

Ni sawa Obama stayed away from Nai. He saved us from further embarrassment and a predictable post-speech response from our wanasiasa: “Kenya is a sovereign state…”
